Driving down Hwy 40, Yampa Valley unfolds in a patchwork of gold and green beneath a sky full of luminous clouds. Each drive into Steamboat revealed new rhythms—the glint of water, the geometry of fields, the soft light of fall on the land. This painting captures that intersection between the natural and the cultivated, where clouds move freely above the quiet order of the valley.
