Artist Rose daRosa was awarded Third Place in the Professional Division at the 15th Annual Steamboat Plein Air Event, hosted by the Steamboat Art Museum in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Her painting, Rabbit Ears Nocturn, was honored alongside more than 200 works created during the week-long celebration of the Yampa Valley’s fall beauty.
Juried by acclaimed artist Suzie Baker, the event included scenic gondola rides for mountaintop painting, a live Quick Draw during the Main Street Farmers Market, and an opening reception attended by over 350 guests. The exhibition of works was displayed through November 2, 2024, at the Steamboat Art Museum.
