Clarke Head is a hidden gem near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, on the dramatic Bay of Fundy. This piece captures my very first visit to the Canadian Maritimes.

I spent a quiet afternoon at low tide in early June, walking the rocky shore and experimenting with a completely new palette. I was searching for color mixes that felt authentic to the rugged coast—far away from the bright turquoise of Miami or the dusty ochres of the desert. But if you look closely at the rock face, you can see I managed to sneak a few of those warm tones in anyway! I can't help myself—I do love color.
